Today I watched my Haley willingly walk out of a dressing room more than once trying on one beautiful wedding gown after another. Each time, out she came, smile radiating, gliding gracefully toward us then stopping to twirl slowly in front of a mirror. She took my breath away. I smiled and shook my head slightly as I remembered her as a child. It was all I could do to get her to try on clothes as she was growing up! Imagine that. A mother who WANTED to spend money on cute clothes for her daughter and yet she would have none of it. She hated it! I used to just buy what I thought would fit and then hope she would wear it. She had an aversion to dressing rooms and all that went on in there, a real psychological disorder if you ask me! She has come a long way, this one. But today, the wait was totally worth it.
p.s. - Yes, she is trying on wedding dresses and is not even engaged yet, but it will be soon....
