Baby, Baby, Baby!

On Thursday, March 3, 2011, Mr. Horne and I locked up the house, took Chelsea-girl to the kennel and hopped on an airplane headed to Pennsylvania.

Mr. Horne wasted no time once we got there and got right down on the floor to play with his grandson!

Will is not crawling quite yet, but is close.  Grandpa has taken it upon himself to teach him how!

This is Will's famous "look."  Head down, eyes up - we're lucky here that he smiled - his usual "look" is accompanied by a straight face.

Grandma Horne niffles Will's neck which he thinks is great fun indeed!

We are standing in Sterling's office at Wharton.

Happy, Happy Baby!

Grandma took a gazillion and one pictures of this cute face so that when she goes home, she will be content for at least one week.

Not sure what is so funny about the baseboard corner, but he sure giggled at it!

Eating Mama's toes...

Eating a dill pickle...

Eating a sock...

Eating his own toes...

Eating cereal.
Hey, he's a growing boy!

Our outing to the park was a swinging success!

Sliding

Playing...

in...

the...

sand!

Exploring the jungle gym.

Enduring Mama-loves!

We also explored Philadelphia, where so much early American history took place!

Sterling, Sarah and Will in Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence was signed.

The Liberty Bell

Our little trooper did GREAT even though it was COLD and windy!

The Capitol Building with a huge statue of William Penn on the top.

We loved our outings but it was fun to go home again to Sterling and Sarah's cute apartment, relax and play with baby!

Will has all the right moves...

for crawling...

but he just hasn't quite...

mastered...

the skill yet!  But it's sure cute to watch him try!

We spent one week with Sterling, Sarah and baby Will.  We had SO much fun that we can hardly wait to go back again!  We love you Ster, Sarah & William!
