After Haley's eye appointment this morning, Mr. Horne and I decided to take the girls to Lancaster County, PA to get a peek at Amish life. Sarah stayed behind to rest her oh-so-weary pregnant body.
Madi has always liked "miniature" things so it is not surprising that she loves this mini horse. It looks like the horse is her kindred spirit. It seems to like little people...Madi!
We stopped at an Amish farm and spent a lot of time with these adorable calves!
Milk me already!
These are the cows that ate the grass that turned into milk with heavy cream that was turned into ice cream right there on the farm for us to eat! Yum.
We drove back to Philly, met Sterling and Sarah and went to dinner with Eric Bruskin, a former work acquaintance and friend of Mr. Hornes. We ate at a Greek restaurant named Dimitri's. It wasn't Dasks, but it did in a pinch!
