Sydney and I were in a scrapbook store in Orem one day in February and were approached by a very excited employee. She could hardly contain her excitement as she told us that she had just purchased 5th row tickets to the David Archuleta "Crush" concert at the E-Center on March 27th! She told us that it was a special pre-sale concert ticket sale and that if we wanted to, we could use the store computer to order our own if we wished. Syd and I looked at each other and decided, sure! The woman gave us the password, which was "Crush" and we went in the back room and ordered seven tickets right then and there! They were not as close as the employee's tickets, but, on the floor never-the-less, and pretty inexpensive. As the date grew closer, the girls became more and more excited to go. On the 27th of March, Joel and I took the girls, Sterling and Sarah to Dask's for dinner and then to the E-Center for the concert! We had a fabulous time! The concert was great (although a little loud)! I had the most fun watching the girls dance and sing along with David! He was the 2008 American Idol runner up, losing by a close margin to David Cook.
David Archuleta is from Murray, Utah and is LDS so he has a great fan base here in Utah. He is a fabulous vocalist and just a great down to earth kind of kid (from what we've seen and heard about him).
