Draper Temple Dedication

We have been watching with great excitement the building of the Draper Utah Temple for the past few years now.  On Sunday, March 22, we were able to attend one of the twelve dedicatory sessions for the new temple.  We were required to get special temple dedication recommends to attend even though we attended via satellite at our stake center.  It is the first temple dedication for everyone in our family except Joel (he attended one when he was very young).  President Thomas S. Monson gave the dedicatory prayer and President Eyring led us in the Hosanna Shout, which was my favorite part.  It is a welcome shout for the Lord as He enters His holy house.  I couldn't help but think about His entry into Jerusalem and His followers at the time offering the same shout of welcome.  The dedication was a beautiful experience and one that will not soon be forgotten.  Joel and I are excited to serve in this temple as patrons!
